Fixed Term Contract for 15 months.
Apprenticeship Rates are age related:
(16yrs to 17yrs) £4.71 per hour or £9,086 PA
(18yrs to 20yrs) £6.61 per hour or £12,752 PA
(21yrs to 24yrs) £8.36 per hour or £16,128 PA
(25+yrs) £8.72 per hour or £16,822 PA

WHAT WE DO
The post holder will provide a customer focussed responsive and quality financial service supporting all aspects of the Accounts Receivable team in their day to day, month end and year end duties. The post holder will be required to undertake studies towards the successful completion of the AAT Level 2 and Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting. The post holder will, at all times, comply with Leeds City College Group Financial Regulations and Procedures and maintain a pro-active and diligent approach to fraud awareness.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Accounts payable - to support in the timely and accurate payment of supplier invoices using the college’s U4 finance system.
- Accounts Receivable – to support in the timely collection of all monies due to the college and maintain an accurate position of the college’s debtors
- Financial Accounting team – to support the timely reporting and reconciliation of the college's cash resources. To prepare cash receipts for banking, including counting and reconciling all receipts.
