Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England.
We have an exciting opportunity for a FE Course Manager/Lecturer to join the Animal Management Department based at our Wakefield Centre. We are looking for a highly motivated individual capable of working within a small team environment delivering a high standard of education to our level 2 / 3 learners. You will have a high degree of enthusiasm for teaching and be knowledgeable about the animal management sector.
The role is part-time working 29.6 hours per week over 4 days on a fixed term contact (0.8FTE).
The successful candidate will report to the Centre Manager and be responsible for the planning and delivery of teaching on both our level 2 and level 3 programmes with course management responsibilities involving the day to day management of students, tracking of their academic progress and include academic / study skills support where required.
Educated to degree level or above in a relevant subject, candidates will ideally have a working knowledge across a range of subject areas and should hold or be willing to work towards a teaching qualification.
Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
