Salary:    Grade H for teaching, currently £32.98 per hour.

Inclusive of holiday pay (£5.69) and preparation time (£5.46) per hour.

Hours:   12 hours per week with the possibility of increasing over time

We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and pro-active specialist in physics to join our Access to Science team. Morley College’s North Kensington Centre is about to undergo a large-scale refurbishment and will emerge as a state-of-the-art, community focused learning hub. Part of the new curriculum we will be offering the local community is a brand new suite of Public Services qualifications.

Your role will be to deliver Public Services subjects to students studying at Level 1 and 2 in Public Services. Initially the post will be for 12 hours per week based at the North Kensington Centre, but there is the possibility for more hours in the future as the curriculum expands to include Level 3 and HND Public Services.

You should have vocational experience working within Public Services as well as experience of working in a further education setting with young people and adult. Most importantly, you should be an outstanding practitioner of teaching, learning and assessment.
