Our Hairdressing Section offers a wide range of courses including NVQ Hairdressing Levels 1, 2 and 3. We are seeking to appoint a full time Hairdressing Lecturer to teach on a range of courses within the Section, to cover a period of maternity leave.
You will need to possess a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing, and will ideally possess an advanced level teaching qualification, although we will support you to obtain the Award in Education and Training qualification if you do not possess one. Together with a minimum of 4 years’ hairdressing experience, you will also have successful experience of teaching Hairdressing. You should have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage young people aged 16-19.
