The External Funding Monitoring Officer will be responsible for the monitoring and compliance of all records associated with externally funded projects within the College, working with external partners to ensure that all projects are run effectively and efficiently. 

Working closely with the External Funding Manager, you will ensure that all supporting records are completed accurately and in line with College and External Funds Audit Procedures.  Establishing, maintaining and monitoring all participant progression, you will also track and ensure all project milestones are adhered to and that all relevant staff comply with systems and procedures. 

Experience of developing funding claim and audit requirements for European and other external funds is essential, whilst knowledge of project costing and financial management would be beneficial.

With excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, you will have good communication skills and a working knowledge of a range of Microsoft packages including Excel and Access.

You will be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent and hold a Level 2 (GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent) Maths & English qualification.
