Casual Assessor in Childhood Studies

We have an exciting opportunity at Bridgend College for a Casual Assessor in Childhood Studies to join our dedicated and passionate team. 

You will be an integral part of the Care and Childhood Studies team responsible for delivering and assessing qualifications in Childhood Studies. You will have knowledge of assessing students on placement, be educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and have relevant assessor awards.

This post involves the assessment of practical skills and knowledge related to the Level 2 Diploma in Children's Care, Play, Learning and Development. You will plan and organise placement visits, support/mentor our learners, carry out practical assessments within the childcare setting placements, and maintain associated student assessment records and progress reviews at the placement settings throughout South East Wales. Full training will be given on all College systems.
