WHAT WE DO 

Service Professions is a diverse department and includes curriculum areas; Health and Sports Science, Youth Education, Public Services, Business and Events, Hair and Beauty and GCSEs. All curriculum areas offer main study programmes, adult courses and commercial courses. We are looking for a Course Leader who will support us to grow our provision our already successful curriculum areas, through innovative teaching and learning experiences. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in the relevant subject matter, and have be an experienced teacher in childcare, education or public services. The

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead and manage courses under the diverse curriculum area
  • Plan, deliver and lead assessment and IV on designated courses
  • Enrich and empower learners through innovative teaching and learning
  • Plan for and manage a robust quality process
  • Lead teachers and assessors on designated courses
  • Track and monitor pupil progress

  • The ideal person will be confident to deliver, assess and monitor learning and be an enthusiastic team member.
  • They will be organised and efficient, be passionate about their subject area and have the skills that will compliment our vision of quality, innovation and growth
  • Through sound leadership skills, the ideal candidate will drive TLA in their areas through intentional leadership and guidance

If you are an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen and you were resident in the UK on or before 31 December 2020, you have until 30 June 2021 to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme, you can continue to prove your right to work in the UK with your passport and identity card up until 30 June 2021. 

There is no change to immigration and right to work for British and Irish Citizens.
