Nottingham College is a £65 million hub of skills, training and education supporting the current and future economy of Nottingham and its surrounding areas. Our vision is to deliver excellence in education and employment. That means excellent students, excellent teaching, excellent facilities and supporting services and above all a truly outstanding workforce to make the vision a reality.

Contract: 37 hours per week, Permanent

How we work and how we operate has changed beyond recognition and our HR operating model has changed to meet these challenges and enable the delivery of a truly ambitious People Strategy, which is integral to achieving our vision.

At Nottingham College, our operating model for our newly launched People & Development Services function is truly agile to be a visible, valuable and trusted partner. We now need an experienced and self-motivated Employee Services & Resourcing Manager to lead and develop our Employee Services offer. From recruitment to retirement, you will manage the administrative and recruitment services, which ensure our employee’s journey matches our aspirations as an Employer of Choice.

You will be a self-starter, highly organised with an eye for detail and a true team player who can improve our back office HR systems and administrative processes ensuring that the candidate and the employee are at the heart of everything we do. You will have a sound understanding or workforce planning and resourcing and will have current experience of ‘best in class’ recruitment.

A confident communicator with a collaborative style, you will support the work of our Business Partner operations team, have the knowledge and relevant experience to drive improvements and raise the profile of the service.

If leading in people management practice is your vision, we are the place to make it happen!

The post will be shortlisted against the essential and desirable criteria from the person specification. Please ensure that you have a look at the specification attached to the role profile and address the criteria when making your application.

If an informal discussion would be helpful, please contact Karen Sanders, Director of People & Development Services by email Karen.sanders@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk

We believe that a diverse workforce leads to an organisation that is more innovative, more creative and gets better results. We want our workforce to represent the diversity of the people and communities that we serve. We also want our workplace to be one where different experiences, expertise and perspectives are valued and where everyone is encouraged to grow and develop.
