We are recruiting for an Audiology (Hearing Aid Dispenser) Programme Lead and Co-ordinator to lead the development, management and delivery of the Audiology curriculum within Health and Care Professions and Nursing.
The post holder will support the development and delivery of Healthcare courses and contribute to the delivery, continuing development and integration of healthcare within modules and courses offered. Working closely with the course team, the post holder will provide support to students undertaking modules and courses at the college and to students/mentors in clinical environments.
You will be involved in the development of modules/courses/study days with a focus on healthcare related areas of care, across the College’s curriculum. Whilst delivering innovative teaching, learning and assessments through high quality teaching and learning materials. Delivering innovative teaching, learning and assessment strategies, you will enhance the student learning experience for those on our healthcare courses, including engagement with partner stakeholders, supporting learners and manager/clinical placement facilitators/mentors in practice.
The postholder will also support and contribute to applied research, professional practice and other scholarly activity in support of the College’s academic development programme. You will carry out all necessary administrative responsibilities and participate fully in quality assurance processes within the University Centre. In addition to the above areas of responsibility the position maybe required to undertake any other reasonable duties relating to the broad scope of the position.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant Degree and HCPC registration (Hearing Aid Dispenser). You will have experience of using innovative and appropriate teaching/coaching techniques and materials (eg. simulated learning) in addition to experience supporting and assessing staff/students undertaking healthcare courses you will have excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills.
