Associate Director Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies

Location:  Scunthorpe and Doncaster

DN Colleges works in partnership with a large number of employers to deliver their engineering and manufacturing apprenticeship and FE programmes across a broad range of disciplines. 

This an exciting opportunity to join our established team, working in an area where we have significant growth opportunities. The successful applicant will, lead the management of engineering and manufacturing at both of the main college sites for all funding streams of 16-18, 19+ and apprenticeships and you will line manage all Curriculum Leaders across both sites.  

The successful applicant will ensure these programmes are of a consistently high standard with outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, high achievement rates, effective employer support and positive feedback in relation to the quality of the provision.   

You  will lead on the engineering and manufacturing apprenticeship provision working with the colleges further education curriculum areas, work-based delivery teams and where needed our university centres to ensure that apprentices and FE students are fully supported, challenged and stretched to achieve their potential.    

The role will involve ongoing liaison with employers to ensure that the training meets the requirements of their business. This post will be based at both colleges; however the post holder will be required to work at any of the College delivery sites, work off site with employers and attend a range of external events as required.
