Could you be our next Key learning Mentor?
This role is an exciting opportunity to provide holistic support to learners individually and within small groups. This includes supporting learners with SpLD (specific learning difficulties) with their personal, social and emotional needs alongside their academic learning. The role will involve supporting students to access the welfare services available to them.
Through effective support, the successful candidate will be contributing to student achievement and retention. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with students with specific learning difficulties, on a one to one basis as well as small groups. We are looking for an individual with outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive working relationships. You will be a professional, confident team player and have a passion for learning. You will also possess a minimum Level 2 qualification in numeracy and literacy.
This is a part time, term time role working 22.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum. Benefits include membership of the excellent local government pension scheme.
