Gower College Swansea has an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Apprentice. 

Working for approximately 30 hours per week within the Sports Center and the GCS active and wellbeing provision, the successful candidate will work towards obtaining a Level 3 Diploma in Social Media for Business or Customer Services, promoting the gym services whilst gaining valuable on the job training and experience.

Whilst working towards the qualification, your role will also include a range of activities including working with internal and external customers, activity support and delivery, front of house/reception and gym instruction. 

It is expected that this qualification will be gained within 18 months (including level 2 Digital Literacy, English and Mathematics), with an average commitment of two days teaching and assessment away from the workplace per month.

With effective communication skills and a polite and friendly manner, you will have an interest in sport and social media.  A positive and organised approach, along with the ability to work flexibly and as part of a team, is important.
