This popular, exciting and specialised subject area combines a first class learning experience using our extensive practical facilities on the College estate with off-site industry related projects. The college offers a wide range of short, part time and full time courses covering every aspect of the forestry and arboriculture industry.

We are currently expanding our teaching team and are actively looking for innovative and self-motivated lecturers with experience in teaching both practical and theoretical sessions and who want to make a significant contribution to Moulton College. Using our extensive estate as your classroom you will deliver engaging sessions to your groups. You will promote high standards of environmental behaviours and be committed to upholding animal welfare.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a significant subject knowledge which can be applied to a number of theory based curriculum delivery requirements as well as a high level of practical competence. They will possess nationally recognised qualifications in chainsaw use, cross cutting, tree felling and rope and harness as well as aerial rescue. You will hold GCSE’s in Maths and English Language at grade C (or equivalent). You will also have a full UK driving licence. You will be able to show experience of estate management, ecology and conservation and plant and soil science.
