The Faculty of Early Years, Science, Health and Care is a high performing area which offers a wide range of courses for learners from Entry level through to Foundation Degree. With the anticipated growth of the area, we are looking for enthusiastic and innovative lecturers to join our team.

Contract: Full time, part time and variable hours

If you are an expert in your area and are passionate about teaching and learning, we have the following opportunities available within our Faculty:

  • Health and Social Care – full time, part time and variable hours (Levels 1-3) Including Cache level 2 and level 3 in Health and Social Care; Access to HE Nursing and Midwifery and Access to HE Health and Social Care
  • Early Years – full time, part time and variable hours (Levels 1-5) Programmes include level 2 and Level 3 Diploma Early Years Practitioner; Level 5 Foundation Degree Early Years Studies.

The successful candidates will be student focused, have passion, drive and vision that shines through to create outstanding learning opportunities. They will have excellent communication skills, have empathy, understanding and the ability to inspire and engage young people to excel and achieve their learning goals. The roles will also include additional duties such as pastoral support, progress monitoring and report writing. The successful candidates will need to demonstrate that they have experience of using a range of learning technologies as well as a willingness to continue to update their skills through directed and self-directed CPD.

Ideally the successful candidates will hold a teaching qualification, however professional development and training is available to support this.
