We are seeking to appoint a Learning Advocate to support Sixth Form students with the development of their GCSE and Functional Skills in Maths and English, either on a one to one basis or in small groups. You would assist with initial and diagnostic assessment, set and review SMART targets and maximise students’ attendance to the sessions.
You should have good numeracy and literacy skills, and have some experience of working with young people with numeracy or literacy needs in an educational environment. You will have good communication skills and be able to motivate and build good working relationships with young people.
