Tutor - Access to Business

Full Time, Fixed Term (Until July 2022)

The Access to Higher Education curriculum area has an outstanding reputation for teaching and student satisfaction. We are firmly focused on preparing students for successful progression onto Higher Education.

We require a new fixed term member of staff with expertise in Business, ideally with a broad knowledge of topics including Social Media Advertising, Developing a Marketing Plan and other aspects of Business such as Business Law and Accounts. 

Applicants should hold a good first degree. A Masters or equivalent industrial experience in Business or a similar discipline is also desirable. Experience of teaching and Ofsted would be essential as would possession of a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one). Previous experience of delivering on an Access course or on a Level 3 qualification or higher would be desirable.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter and able to communicate with students, tutors and academia at all levels. 

Duties include teaching on and preparing materials for a range of topics. Tutors are sought for courses that run during the day face to face as well as online teaching environments. You will also provide support to senior academics for module delivery and assessment as well as Outreach activities and Open Days.
