WHAT WE DO 

Luminate FE Colleges has an innovative approach to teaching, learning and assessment through the use of digital innovation strategies. The college’s main digital platform is G Suite for Education and we are one of only a few Google Reference Colleges in the UK. This status was awarded to the college based on the impact on learning, through the extensive use of collaborative learning tools and the bespoke training programmes. This is an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Practitioner to support our journey to outstanding across Luminate FE Colleges. As part of a central team, you will provide excellent customer service and support for curriculum departments in delivering the highest quality teaching, learning and assessment for students and apprentices. You will be an excellent teacher with a proven record of ‘good or better’ teaching, learning and assessment practice as well as a proven track record of digital innovation. Responsibilities will include the sharing of best practice, mentoring, coaching and embedding technology and tracking systems to maximise assessment and progress. You will have a confident and empathic approach towards working with colleagues and will lead on the training and development of digital skills. WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Implementation of digital innovation, upskilling staff to make best use of technology for teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Inform and support college improvement.
  • Development of staff skills, digital literacy and innovation, through the design and delivery of the CPD strands and staff training.
  • Provide blended learning advice, guidance and support to shape a more creative and innovative approach to curriculum design.
