Lecturer in Computing / Cyber Security

(0.8 FTE - 29.6 hours per week)

Unqualified: £21,135 - £24,943 per annum (pro rata)

Qualified: £26,910 - £41,597 per annum (pro rata)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our passionate and enthusiastic Curriculum team at Bridgend College. As a Lecturer in Computing and Cyber Security, you will plan, develop, evaluate and deliver the curriculum content of learning programmes effectively and efficiently. You will drive the new Cyber College Cymru initiative and work closely with our industrial partners Admiral, Thales and Fujitsu to deliver an exciting, industry-relevant qualification in cyber security. 

A proven background in either cyber security or network administration and experience of cyber related industry projects is essential. Experience of working within a cloud platform is also desirable, preferably in Amazon Web Services although Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure are acceptable.
