Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England. We have an exciting opportunity for a Higher Education/Course Manager specialising in teaching research methods and statistics to our landbased students at our York campus.  

We are seeking an enthusiastic self-starter who has a passion for supporting students and helping them on their academic journey through their programme. This is a full time role, working closely with members of the University Centre Team, for 37 hours a week on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate should hold a formal postgraduate qualification and it is desirable, although not essential, that you have experience of supporting and/or teaching students. The successful candidate will teach across our portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as supervise student projects and dissertations. For this post, your teaching interests should align with one or more of broad subject areas within our portfolio of courses. You will have excellent communication skills, be experienced with Microsoft programs and statistics software. You will be willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business and support an outstanding student experience, marketing opportunities and industry engagement.
