The Transport Administrator is a key member of our Student Services function, providing administrative, general and practical support in a range of Transport matters.
You will be required to issue bus passes to students while ensuring correct payments are made and accurate records are kept. You will have experience of large volume communications and have a strong team ethic. This may also include assisting in general Student Services queries.
Hours: 13.45 – 17.30
Hours are seasonally managed throughout the year to meet business needs. During peak times of the year hours are likely to rise and during quieter periods hours could reduce.
You will have experience of working in a busy customer focused environment and have a flexible approach to your work. Working weeks will be agreed to reflect the needs of the business at different times of the year. You will have a high level of attention to detail and be a competent user of IT.
The successful candidate will possess a relevant professional qualification or proven track record, have a minimum of Grade C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent), and a commitment to, and evidence of CPD. An NVQ in Business Administration / Customer Service or equivalent would be advantageous. Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence.
