We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and inspirational Brickwork Lecturer to work in our Construction Department.

The overall purpose of the post will be to make a significant contribution to the effective delivery of the curriculum, in line with the College’s Quality Improvement Strategy. You will be required to ensure a high quality and relevant learning experience for all students on the course/s and to co-ordinate the setting, monitoring and reporting of student performance. The candidate will also be required to contribute to the administrative work of the team.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience teaching in the subject area and work experience in the subject area. The qualifications deemed essential for this post include a relevant qualification at Level 3 or above in subject specific area, a minimum of Level 2 qualification in literacy and Numeracy (e.g. GCSE English at grade A*-C), and a Level 5 Teaching Qualification. Level 3 Student Teachers will also be considered for the role.  The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is also essential for the post.
