Lecturer – Policing and Criminal Justice (0.6 FTE)

  • Lecturer – Policing and Criminal Justice (0.6 FTE)
  • UCO Grade 7 £34,201 - £38,471 Per Annum, Pro Rata

The Role:

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Lecturer in Policing and Criminal Justice who is able to contribute to the successful delivery of the Pearson Higher National qualifications in Policing and our FdA and BA (Hons) top-up degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice.

As Lecturer, the successful candidate will undertake a range of teaching, module leadership and student support duties across our growing criminal justice and policing provision at Levels 4, 5 and 6. A key part of the role will include contributing to the development and successful launch of new programmes in criminal justice related fields. Experience and knowledge of policing practice is essential for this role, and the ability to teach a range of criminal justice related disciplines is also important. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to develop their academic career in a small and friendly environment, whilst utilising strong student support and employer engagement skills to drive a key area of growth for the campus.

The successful candidate will have a proven record in inspirational teaching at HE level and have a demonstrable commitment to teaching and learning excellence.
