WHAT WE DO 

Careers, Work Experience and Progression is part of the Student Life Directorate and leads on activities and strategies which contribute to an outstanding further education student experience closely aligned with the college and group strategic objectives.

Careers, Work Experience and Progression (CWP) supports students through guidance, opportunities and experience to make informed life choices about their career pathway and destination.

The International strand and other externally funded projects are intended to give students and staff access to often life changing activities and engagement, that will be eye-opening and resilience building.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You will lead on international opportunities for both students and staff as well as other externally funded projects
  • You will oversee the conclusion of the college’s long standing Erasmus+ programme and develop the group’s approach to the Turing Scheme
  • You will manage the associated compliance for the above projects

YOUR PROFILE 

  • The successful candidate for this role will need to be innovative and collaborative in their outlook
  • You will have excellent communication skills
  • You will be able to demonstrate superb attention to detail through your professional practice
  • You will have a experience working within a compliance related role, and have a strong working knowledge of compliance in practice 
  • You will have the financial acumen to fulfil the deliverables of often complex, multi strand projects
  • You will have excellent project management skills 

We are ideally looking for a person who has experience of international work, particularly Erasmus+, and therefore understands the demands and nuances of working with a wide variety of stakeholders including international partners, students, educators and support staff in an education setting.

The applicant will also ideally have up-to-date knowledge of international funding programmes and experience of maintaining, monitoring, and reporting on financial records.
