Kirklees College is a large successful FE college, currently Ofsted graded as Good. Operating across Kirklees with centres based in Huddersfield and Dewsbury.  

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a modern building, with excellent on site facilities, such as a fully equipped gym, hair & beauty salons and fine dining restaurant.

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Curriculum Area Manager for Maths.

The successful post holder will have a passion for their curriculum area and up to date knowledge of GCSE/FS syllabus. Working across all college sites and covering 16-18 study programmes, adult provision, apprenticeships and community learning provision, you will lead, motivate, develop and manage the Maths curriculum team. You will have a proven track record of improving standards in Maths that will drive learners towards their aspirational destinations.

Having worked in a similar role or ready for your next step into middle management, you will bring a motivational, target driven approach and drive to build a dynamic and successful team and will be able to utilise staff resources and maximise efficiency and effectiveness.

To be considered for this role you must hold a relevant degree, a minimum of a level 4 qualification in Maths or English and be a fully qualified teacher with demonstrable experience working in a cross-college role.
