We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our team on a part -time basis, working 3 days per week on a full-time fixed term contract basis (until July 2022). Working closely with our Head of Inclusive Learning and Development the successful candidate will adopt innovative approaches to support young people transition back into education and take next steps to Further Education.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with 14-19 years old with or without an Education Healthcare Plan (EHCP) that have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including; SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Difficulties, and/or Specific Learning difficulties. As an Outreach Mentor, you will be expected to develop a good rapport with young people in order to support them effectively at home or on site with transition. You will, therefore, need to have an excellent understanding of SEND, be enthusiastic and proactive and have strong behaviour management skills.
