Could you be our next Digital Marketing Officer? This role is an exciting opportunity to flex your digital abilities and take the College’s digital communications to the next level.
The ideal candidate will understand the key differences between each digital channel, when to use them and who to target with them. They will be able to edit copy to ensure it is optimised for web or to work on our social channels. They will be able to evaluate and report on the performance of their campaigns, making changes and recommendations to constantly improve output.
Experience in using scheduling software, video editing software and a CMS platform would be highly desirable, although not essential. We’re looking for someone who will learn fast, turn things around quickly and have a flexible approach.
Most of all, however, it’s the softer skills that bring this all together. You must be able to build good relationships with colleagues, students and stakeholders to ensure a continuous pipeline of activity, that’s well planned, authentic and impactful.
As well as a competitive salary, you can also look forward to 26 days holiday plus bank holidays (as well as up to 5 efficiency days at Christmas), and membership of the excellent local government pension scheme as well as a range of other staff benefits. This is a full-time permanent role.
