Centre Coordinator

Could you be our next Centre Coordinator? This role is an exciting opportunity to coordinate the smooth site operations of One Garden Brighton and Plumpton College’s Stanmer Park Campus.

Ensuring a seamless integration between the academic and commercial functions on site, this is a varied role in which the successful candidate will manage and ensue professional presentation of the office, classroom, parking and communal student environments, acting as a focal point for site enquiries. The Centre Manager will also manage contracted services, ensure inspections and legislative expectations are exceeded and act as safety manager and fire warden. The Centre Coordinator will oversee the performance of the centre in terms of resource utilisation, Plumpton College student survey data and One Garden Brighton visitor data.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of maintaining the presentation of facilities, demonstrating high standards and attention to detail.  With effective communications skills, they will be confident in presenting at all levels demonstrating recent experience of working with young people either in a customer service or student support context.  With a safety management qualification, or the willingness to gain one, they will also demonstrate knowledge of site/event logistics, project management and legislative standards.
