Nottingham College through its Emtec brand, works across the automotive sector with brands including Ferrari, Aston Martin, Tesla, Kia, and Hyundai.

Contract: 37 hours per week, Permanent

Directly and through the management of a small team, the Strategic Business Partner will provide strategic account management to large and small employers, to assist in the planning of their workforce recruitment and training needs. Responsible for stretching financial targets, this role will deliver significant growth to Emtec through generating new business predominantly via apprenticeships and commercial training opportunities.

The post holder will as an ambassador for training and skills and the impact this makes to businesses, the economy and individuals’ occupational opportunities. Provide employers with outstanding service, being their trusted adviser in respect of their learning and development plans. Showing a keen awareness of labour market information and the local needs of the economy and automotive sector you will contribute to planning of the work-based products and educational offer. You will lead and motivate a small team to consistently achieve and overreach challenging income targets.
