WHAT WE DO
The ITSS team within Luminate Professional Services provides IT support for all staff and students in the group.
We're looking for an IT Service Desk Technician to work as part of our team providing initial IT support, logging and recording IT requests and tracking until completion on our Service Desk system.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Technical IT/AV role working within the ITSS Service Desk team.
- Provide 1st line customer support within the ITSS Service Desk. All incidents and requests are recorded and resolved in line with department service level standards.
- Technical “hands on” support for the provision of 2nd line support. Support on maintaining, testing and configuring hardware, operating systems and software in relation to Campus desktops, mobile computers, mobile telephone handsets and all multimedia, classroom technology and assistive technology equipment in line with department service level standards.
- Act as an internal point of escalation for technical issues within the Service Desk Team and co- ordinate communication with other ITSS teams.
YOUR PROFILE
Experience of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Application software are essential.
Excellent telephone and customer support skills are also required.
The ability to enter information and track changes in an Service Desk system is required.
