Hours: 18.5 hours per week, as required.

This is a fixed term post until 30/07/2022.

Kirklees College is a large successful FE college, currently Ofsted graded as Good. Operating across Kirklees with centres based in Huddersfield and Dewsbury.  

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a modern building, with excellent onsite facilities, such as a fully equipped gym, hair & beauty salons and fine dining restaurant.

You will work as part of a combined health and social care and children and families work- based team, delivering a range of qualifications to meet employer needs and supporting students to progress from unemployment into employment in a range of sector areas.

The qualifications deemed essential for the post are: a minimum of Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C), a Level 3 in Adult Health Care, a willingness to work towards Level 4 Teaching qualification and an Assessor Award. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is also essential for the post.
