Student Engagement Lead (Welsh Essential)

Term Time Only for 42 weeks per annum
(The approximate salary based on the full 42 weeks is £18,576 - please note actual salary will be based on number of weeks worked)

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Welsh speaking Student Engagement Lead to join our Student Wellbeing Team! 

Job Purpose: To be innovative and able to engage students in a variety of initiatives such as Be Heard, Be Active and Be Involved. You will ensure these opportunities are available to all students across College and to increase the level of student participation through the medium of Welsh.

What are we looking for? 

• Proven track record of working with young people in groups. Knowledge of networking with individuals and agencies. Knowledge and awareness of issues affecting young adults. Knowledge of the barriers when offering student engagement activities and strategies to overcome them. Knowledge of SOVA, Child Protection and Prevent Legislation. Level 1, 2 & 3 Child Protection or working towards. Ability to demonstrate integrity and patience. Fluent Welsh speaker.
