Customer Contact Administrator (Maternity Cover)

We have a great opportunity based at our Bedford campus for a Customer Contact Administrator to become a key member of our Enquiries and Admissions department.

As a Customer Contact Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

• Supporting the Customer Contact Team to provide a high quality, professional front of house service, ensuring that the College’s standards of service are met through the effective processing of customers and visitors.
• Acting as the main point of contact for all customers by managing the switchboard for The Bedford College Group.
• Providing administrative support to the Customer Contact Team as identified by service needs.

Our ideal candidates will have experience of working in a customer service environment and experience of working in a fast-paced environment, alongside the following qualifications:

• English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent.
• GCSE ICT at grade A*-C/9-4, ITQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Evidence of continued professional development.

Maternity cover – Fixed-term contract, end date 13^th May 2022

39 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year

273 hours holiday per annum
