Carpentry Trainer/Assessor

We are looking for a Trainer / Assessor who has experience in delivering training and assessment on various Carpentry Programmes.  The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and monitoring apprentices on learning programmes within college and in the workplace.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 NVQ Carpentry qualification and have industry experience, both of which are essential to be able to carry out assessment activity with apprentices. An assessors award, or commitment to undertake within 12 months of employment is essential and a teaching qualification, at Level 3 would be an advantage or a willingness to undertake this within 18 months of employment.

All successful applicants will need to undertake an enhanced disclosure and barring service check and children and adults barred list checks where the applicant will be employed in a regulated activity.
