28.8 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Working days - Monday to Friday

We require an enthusiastic and organised individual to source work experience opportunities, primarily for Hair, Beauty, Hospitality and Performing Arts students. You will also collate information centrally on existing student work experience placements. 

You would establish and maintain a database of work experience placements for students in the above mentioned areas and source and organise their setting up and operation.   Responsibilities will involve liaising with employers offering work experience, students and College staff and maintaining effective systems for monitoring of the placements.  The role will involve visiting employers’ premises and carrying out risk assessment checks.  You would also be collating figures cross-College and producing data reports.

Educated to a good standard, you should have good administrative skills including working with databases and good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.  You should have excellent communication skills with good attention to detail and be able to work flexibly on your own initiative.  You must hold a full, clean driving licence and have your own personal transport as the role will involve visiting employers in the local area.
