About our role: As Academic Planning Officer who will be responsible for managing key cyclical processes in support of the academic teams, for example our marking allocation planner, personal tutor allocation planner, collecting, monitoring and chasing departmental action plans etc. The role requires the collection, collation and distribution of both qualitative and quantitative data from a wide range of sources to ensure accurate information is provided to the Faculties.
As Academic Planning Officer, you will be involved in our project to centralise all resources, ensuring our (soon to be up and running) SharePoint Hub provides accessible and up-to-date information to drive enhancement and good practice across the organisation.
Here’s some of what’s involved:
Coordinate and manage institutional academic action plans
Ensure the timely completion of actions and work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure completion
Manage the planning of marking workloads
Manage the planning and allocation of personal tutors
Assist with the planning and implementation of validated and revalidated programmes
Generate reports on trends and data on a cyclical basis
Create and maintain centralised information sources that are accessible to stakeholders across the organisation
Develop staff training and guidance in relevant subject areas
Assist the Data Analysts with the planning of student surveys
Bring your experience:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Strong administrator
Experience in a project management or project coordination role highly desirable
Working within an education environment highly desirable
Experience with working with complex regulations
Experience of managing a diverse workload
Ability to generate reports and analyse data- highly desirable
Experience in developing processes and procedures- desirable
