WHAT WE DO 

The Student Life directorate leads on activities and strategies which contribute to an outstanding further education student experience closely aligned with the college and group strategic objectives. We work closely with curriculum departments on themes of personal development, behaviour and attitude and equality, diversity and inclusion.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The EDI Manager will work within Leeds City College and across the Luminate Education Group to provide a focussed approach taking forward equality priorities, identify opportunities and resources to enrich the student and staff experience, capturing existing best practice and celebrating the diversity and achievement of all our students and staff.

YOUR PROFILE 

We are looking for an outstanding practitioner and equalities leader with experience of working in complex organisations and managing diverse work streams, with experience of leading change and influencing others to achieve objectives, setting pace and demonstrating innovative practice. You will have understanding of current and contemporary equality, diversity and inclusion practice, policy and legislation and a creative approach to design and delivery of innovative solutions to enhance student and staff experience.

Many of the new routes require sponsorship from an employer. Luminate Education Group is not a licenced sponsor. We are unable to employ anyone without current, and appropriate right to work in the UK.  

If you are an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen and you were resident in the UK on or before 31 December 2020, you have until 30 June 2021 to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme, you can continue to prove your right to work in the UK with your passport and identity card up until 30 June 2021. 

There is no change to immigration and right to work for British and Irish Citizens.
