A little more about the role: As an Undergraduate Dissertation Supervisor you will be expected to provide individual support to dissertation students throughout their final year of university.

What you’ll get up to:

Provide supervisory support at mainly undergraduate level for Computing students at their final dissertation stage.

Assess student work to the appropriate benchmark levels within set timescales and communicate effectively with students using email and MS Teams.

The role also requires team working involving communication with other team members and our Dissertation Coordinator.

What you’ll bring to the team:

Expertise in subject area in one or more of the following areas:

Computing dissertation supervision experience

Relevant postgraduate qualification

Planning, organising and delivery skills

The ability to take responsibility and to work to deadlines

Structured and clear communication skills

Use a range of learning and teaching approaches

Use a variety of teaching assessment techniques

Rate: UG £220 per student to include around 6 hours student support, 1^st mark of your student’s (up to) 10,000 word dissertation and 2^nd mark of another student’s dissertation
