We are looking for an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial Head of Digital Learning Production with commercial acumen and a successful track record of leading projects to drive forward a fast-growing business area. This role will lead a digital production team, consisting of two digital design and development managers, learning designers, subject-matter experts and media production to develop high quality-digital learning products to a demanding schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide powerful and inspirational leadership to the Digital Learning Production Team, and cross-functional teams.
- Shape the strategic direction of digital production within Study Group Online, working with the business to scope and plan future developments aligned to the consumer segment and market trends.
- Provide regular reporting on complex development projects to the Director of SG Online, senior leaders, governance committees or boards.
- Oversee and be accountable for the production of Study Group Online’s portfolio of global digital learning products.
- Oversee and be accountable for complex and simultaneous development projects with challenging targets, timelines, budgets and be able to operate mitigation plans
- Oversee and be accountable for developing project proposals with clients or stakeholders and build good relationships with them to design, develop and deliver their digital learning products to schedule.
- Oversee the media production element of our digital learning product portfolio and work collaboratively with the Creative Services Team.
- Lead change management processes to support adopting the changes required by digital product innovation.
- Work with the Product Launch & Implementation Manager to develop product launch plans and documentation required to implement global digital learning products in the market successfully.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience of leading and successfully delivering digital learning and education, whilst providing excellent leadership, line management and operations.
- Experience of reporting to senior leaders, governance committee or boards
- Degree in business, human resources, IT, software engineering, media production or a related field
- Experience of overseeing media production within digital learning product development is desirable
- Strong knowledge of the pedagogical approach to digital learning design is desirable
- Proven success in project management within a fast-paced/growth-driven global company through effective management of people/ resources and support services
