Fixed Term Contract for 15 months.
Apprenticeship Rates are age related:
Level Four
(16yrs to 17yrs) £4.95 per hour or £9,549 PA
(18yrs to 20yrs) £6.85 per hour or £13,215 PA
(21yrs to 24yrs) £8.60 per hour or £16,591 PA
(25+yrs) £8.72 per hour or £16,822 PA

WHAT WE DO
We are the Independent Learning team for Leeds City College. We are a new team within college and we are here to support students to develop their independent learning skills and achieve personal goals. We are looking for someone to join our team as our Apprentice Project and Collections Officer. We want you to lead on the administration and reporting of our projects, collections and financial operations. The role sits in an efficient admin group within our team playing a vital role ensuring that our operations run smoothly. We are looking for someone who wants to gain experience managing projects whilst also studying for a Level 4 Project Management qualification as we work to fully realise the aims of our department within college.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Coordinate and provide flexible support for projects within the independent learning team. Supporting our strategy for growth whilst monitoring and reporting on our progress towards targets. Review processes and make recommendations for process improvement, making best use of IT and online systems. Gathering information and research to help the department improve processes as required. Support events, internal and external, within independent learning allowing training and development to be well managed and tracked.
YOUR PROFILE
Have an ability to communicate and engage with external stakeholders at all levels, ensuring relationships are enhanced and collaborative experiences and opportunities are realised. Knowledge and extensive experience of IT in a business / college context e.g. Microsoft applications including Excel, Outlook. Knowledge and experience with Google applications eg. Docs, Sheets. Experience of working with colleagues in a cross departmental / multi-disciplinary delivery role. Experience of influencing and supporting others to review progress and achieve improved outcomes. Ability to question and challenge established procedures and policies to deliver the best possible outcome. Ability to demonstrate objectivity in decision making and reporting progress.
