Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Location: Huddersfield Centre with remote home-based working during Covid-19 pandemic.

Kirklees College is a large successful FE college, currently Ofsted graded as Good. Operating across Kirklees with 8 centres based across Huddersfield, Dewsbury and Glossop.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to become an integral part of the cross-college marketing team and work within a modern building, with excellent on-site facilities.

The focus of the role is to ensure the college website is maintained and content is up to date. Working collaboratively with other internal marketing and IT staff, this role involves managing and planning web content including images, videos, news stories, course information, links to social media and marketing copy. It requires some experience of digital marketing, Wordpress, SEO and communications to deliver strategic goals whilst using creativity and innovative thinking.

The qualifications deemed essential for the post are a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C), a degree in a relevant subject and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is also essential for the post.
