WHAT YOU WILL DO

This is an exciting opportunity for an Technology Enhanced Learning Advanced Practitioner to support our journey to outstanding at Leeds City College. As part of a central team, you will provide support for curriculum departments and teachers/assessors in delivering the highest quality learning opportunities for their learners. You will be an excellent teacher with a proven record of ‘good or better’ teaching, learning and assessment practice as well as a proven track record in innovative practice around technology to enhance these.

YOUR PROFILE 

Responsibilities will include the sharing of best practice, mentoring staff and supporting them to embed technology as part of face to face and online learning. You will have a confident and empathic approach, experience of mentoring colleagues, as well as being able lead on training and development. You will probably be the type of person who is really organised, is a great communicator and forward thinker and could pass this enthusiasm onto others! The college’s main digital platform is G Suite for Education and we are one of only a few Google Reference Colleges in the UK. This status was awarded to the college based on impact on learning, through the extensive use of collaborative learning tools and the bespoke training programmes the college devised. We have a fantastic reputation around our work and often share and support other education providers with our journey and work.
