The Faculty of Science, Health and Care at Nottingham College offers students the opportunity to study a range of courses. Students can chose from a large range of subjects in a friendly and supportive environment with good teaching, first class facilities and opportunities to take part in a range of sporting, leisure and cultural activities.

We are looking for a Health and Social Care lecturer who is a dedicated, enthusiastic teacher to join our faculty. The successful applicant will be able to teach up to and including levels 3, including BTEC and Access to HE courses. You will be a responsible and confident teacher who has the skills to inspire both pupils and colleagues. You will have an imaginative approach to teaching that generates wonderfully creative lessons to fully engage and inspire your students.

Applicants should have recent experience of teaching, in social sciences would be an advantage. Applicants should have the ability to work as part of a team and develop and share innovative and stimulating teaching and learning resources.

Applicants must be passionate about teaching in the FE sector, and be committed to ensuring that our learners make the best possible progress. As such, applicants must also have a good sense of humour, the ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.

You require a teaching qualification and be passionate about being a professional educator to young people.
