Kirklees College is a large successful FE college, currently Ofsted graded as Good. Operating across Kirklees with centres based in Huddersfield and Dewsbury.  

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a modern building, with excellent onsite facilities, such as a fully equipped gym, hair & beauty salons and fine dining restaurant.

We are looking to recruit a passionate Lecturer in Business Studies who can deliver BTEC L1 – L3 Business subjects which include Developing a Marketing Campaign, Finance for Business, Principles of Management, International Business and Business Decision Making. The ideal applicant would have experience in delivering exam-based qualifications and current industry experience.

The qualifications deemed essential for the post are: A relevant up to date qualification in subject area at Level 3 or above in subject area, a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C), a Level 5 Teaching qualification and the ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is also essential for the post.
