Nottingham College have eleven buildings in and around the city of Nottingham, including the newly opened City Hub in the city centre.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Health and Safety Manager who can support the Director of Estates & Facilities. Whilst it is essential that you have credible health and safety management experience, it’s as important that you are personable and capable of collaborating with a broad spectrum of colleagues.

Contract: 37 hours per week, Permanent

You will lead and be accountable for the delivery of a professional health and safety service to all areas of the College including Estates and Facilities. You will lead on the development and implementation of health and safety management; providing senior level strategic and operational support to academic departments and professional services; influencing health and safety policies and health and safety management systems to enable compliance with legal obligations and best practice. You will have the opportunity to influence decision-making processes regarding effective management of health and safety and wellbeing risks, such as the management of the Covid pandemic in the Nottingham College environment.

You will be part of the Estates and Facilities management team.
