Engineering Product Design and Development Apprentice

To take part in making and assembling prototypes and pre-production products. To carry out testing on products according to international standards and Company requirements, to write reports to record the results and findings of the testing.

The vacancy is for an engineering apprentice to work within the R and D department.

Duties will include:

• To contribute by making and assembling prototypes, pre-production samples and modified samples for test and approval purposes
• The role includes testing of the prototypes through to full production samples according to British, European and American standards and to record the results in test reports
• These test reports will form the basis of the Technical Construction Files and will be used as part of the approval process for Company products
