WHAT WE DO 

Harrogate College is situated in the heart of Harrogate. The vision for the college is to be the provider of choice for technical and vocational education in the Harrogate district. This vision will be built on high quality education delivered by industry trained professionals to meet the needs of the community it serves. To support the college’s journey to being outstanding, the college is recruiting two Deputy Heads, who will support the Deputy Director of Curriculum in all aspects of the departments leadership and management, particularly around the Quality of Education and management of staff and the growth of new curriculum to reflect local and regional priorities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Deputy Heads will manage all elements of curriculum for classroom based, apprenticeship and HE provision at the college. The post holder will also support the Deputy Director of Curriculum to implement new curriculum, so the college offer is reflective of local and regional need. The Deputy Head will manage a team of staff to ensure the operation the curriculum leads to outstanding outcomes and positive progression for the colleges students.

The role requires the person to demonstrate experience of successfully managing curriculum teams.
