Harrogate College is situated in the heart of Harrogate. The vision for the college is to be the provider of choice for technical and vocational education in the Harrogate district. This vision will be built on high quality education delivered by industry trained professionals to meet the needs of the community it serves.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

To support the college’s journey to being outstanding, the college is recruiting a Deputy Director of Curriculum, who will lead on all elements of curriculum for classroom based, apprenticeship and HE provision at the college. The post holder will also support the Principal to grow the status and influence of Harrogate College in North Yorkshire to ensure the college offer is reflective of local and regional need. The Deputy Director will manage a team of staff providing strategic direction and performance management for the operation of the college and will have budgetary responsibility for their areas of responsibility.

The role requires the person to demonstrate experience of successfully leading across a range of curriculum areas, to be confident in their ability to take the lead in developing and manging the curriculum using data analysis, and to have knowledge on education policy and regional priorities in order to drive the growth and quality of education at the college.  If you have the skills required, a passion for learning and making a real difference in your job, we would like to hear from you.
