We are currently looking to recruit a Workshop Technician within EMTEC, our Automotive Apprenticeship and Professional Learning faculty at Ruddington.

Contract: 37 hours per week, Permanent

Applicants should have a strong practical background in automotive, engineering or similar practical trade. A key part of this role is setting up practical training environments that involves regular lifting and moving of heavy objects including vehicles.

Applicants must be able to work on own initiative with limited supervision and be able to meet tight deadlines. The role also involves regular maintenance checks and record keeping. Understanding of risk assessments and COSSH requirements would be a distinct advantage. Full clean driving licence with class BE and D1 is essential.
