Leeds City College seeks an innovative and inspirational leader who can lead our £19m turnover Printworks Campus from Good to Outstanding. The campus includes curriculum departments that are critical to the city’s and the region’s economy including Engineering, Digital, Business, Travel, Food and Drink and Hair and Beauty. With high quality accommodation, increasing student demand and dedicated staff, the campus is perfectly poised for the right leader, as Principal, for rapid growth and further quality improvement from Good to Outstanding.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Printworks Principal, the post holder will be a key member of the Leeds City College and Luminate Group senior leadership team and inspire staff at the Printworks through the development of a positive ethos and culture that can attract and retain the best staff in the sector. Stakeholder engagement will be taken to a level where the campus is recognised as the leading provider for technical and vocational education and training in the region.
Able to demonstrate experience of having led successful curriculum, we are looking for an individual who will lead several hundred staff and thousands of students to achieve their full potential. Although experience of successful leadership and a knowledge of education policy and practice across several sectors would be a distinct advantage, the potential to develop and implement a compelling vision that will propel one of the largest college campuses in West Yorkshire to the next level is paramount.
