The Loughborough College support team are seeking a Learning Support Assistant, to join them in providing a range of support to learners with identified learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

We are looking for someone to be involved in supporting learners across a range of courses from Entry level to Degree level who have learning difficulties and disabilities including Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD and Hearing & Visual/Physical Impairments. The successful candidate will provide in-class support and online support to groups of learners, which includes note-taking, assisting with personal care and mobility support.  

It is essential that applicants have experience of working with students with a disability and have a sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undertake further training where identified, particularly in areas such as Makaton and manual handling.
